About Ersland Equine

Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—literally before I could walk. I grew up riding, starting colts, and patterning barrel horses. I never had the luxury of being handed a finished barrel horse; if I wanted one, I had to help make one. Looking back, I'm thankful for that. It taught me patience, feel, horsemanship, and how to put the buttons on a horse myself. More importantly, it made me the rider I am today.

Today, my horses are more than a passion—they're how I support my family, and that's something I take a lot of pride in. My two kids, my son and daughter, are growing up right alongside me, helping with the horses and ponies and learning the same way of life that shaped me.

At Ersland Equine, I believe in doing things the right way. Everyone can say they train horses, but I care about the whole picture—the horse's mind, its training, its buttons, its quirks, its strengths, and where it will fit best. I don't believe in sugarcoating a horse or telling someone what they want to hear just to make a sale.

What you see is what you get. The horses I offer are represented honestly, exactly as they are—no funny business, no hiding flaws, and no selling a horse as something it's not.

Because at the end of the day, my name is on every horse I sell, and I take that seriously.
